CHALLENGER

Challengers – Stadium Offroad brings out the highly competitive 1600cc VW powered racers to race with the highly modified buggies that run a smaller race engine. ORANZ Challenger Class & Class 5 – all specifications are as per ORANZ rulebook.

Please Note: Mixed Classes will be handicapped during Heat races to provide close final laps between differing Classes in Group. Group make-up may be adjusted on the day to maintain racer numbers on the track.

C01 – Dave Maggs – 

Determined to grab the Challenger Trophy in the National Championship. Winning here will make that a realistic 2025 goal.

C70 – Sareena Paterson –

Sareena is the 2024 New Zealand Challenger Champion. Gaining podiums and finishing races is Sareena’s speciality. A lot of natural ability and always in the hunt.
